Riwo Sangchö Liturgy – Line-by-Line Explanation
with Drubpon Pema Rigdzin
Sat, March 15, 10 am-12 pm pacific. In-Person and Online
This session is a continuation of the previous teaching given on February 8 in which Drubpon Pema Rigdzin introduced the history and meaning of the practice of Riwo Sangchö, Mountain Smoke Offering from the 17th Century Treasure Revealer Lhatsun Namkha Jigme.
As requested, Drubpon has agreed to add another session in which he will explain the liturgy line-by-line and answer questions.
It is not a prerequisite to have attended the first session.
The practice of Riwo Sangchö, Mountain Smoke Offering is especially potent in purifying illnesses for beings and the environment, removing obstacles, and accumulating the two kinds of merit through the offering of fragrant smoke, visualization, and mudrā to the four categories of guests (the triple gem, protectors, the six classes of beings, and our karmic debtors).
“Through this diamond-like practice of Riwo Sangchö, one can ‘ransom’ death, purify the misuse of offerings, and avert various obstacles.”
